This is the seventh and last book of the Harry Potter series, in which Harry is about to turn 17, and he needs to go securely to the Burrow ( Ron’s house ) before Voldemort can attack him. He stays there and doesn’t go to Hogwarts seventh year because he is too busy destroying the Horcruxes that Dumbledore sent him to do. Before they leave to find the Horcruxes, they attended Ron’s brother Bill’s wedding. The ministry of magic falls to the hands of Voldemort, and attack the people at the wedding. They go to 12 Grimmauld Place which Sirius Black inherited the year before. They discover the RAB locket is his brother’s and find the real locket and destroy it, since it’s a Horcrux. To do so, they had to go inside the ministry of magic and steal it. To escape, they Apparate (teleport, basically) and end up at The Forest of Dean. Ron and the others argue, and he leaves, so Hermione and Harry go to Harry’s birth place, and discover a lot of secrets of his family and Dumbledore’s. He gets attacked by Nagini (Voldemort’s Snake) but survives barely. Suddenly, some time after, there is a deer Patronus (ghost animal representation of someone) and Harry follows it, leading to the Griffyndor sword, in which he destroys the locket, and also finds Ron back to help him. They decide to go to Xenophilius Lovegood’s house to ask about a symbol they saw in a children’s wizard fairy tale book, and learn about the Deathly Hallows, but some Death Eaters attacked and brought them to Draco Malfoy’s Manor (their school nemesis) and are tortured. They learn that there is another Horcrux at their bank, escape with the goblin that was also there, and steal it flying with a dragon. They then go to a secret passage to Hogwarts, being under Voldemort’s control, and find another Horcrux. Voldemort has one of the Deathly Hallows, the Elder Wand and it doesn’t work for him, although it is supposedly the deadliest wand. Since he thinks that Snape killed Dumbledore when it was all planned, he killed Snape to be the full owner. Harry turns himself in to Voldemort and kind of dies. However, he is at Kings Cross and Dumbledore talks to him. He is still living, and finally, the final battle, Harry is supposed to be the real owner of the Elder Wand, since Draco disarmed Dumbledore before he died, then Harry overcame Draco at his manor, so Voldemort gives out the Killing Curse, and it rebounds and he dies. The wizarding world is at peace again.
I really like this book because it has a really interesting plot, and it you could never put it down. There wasn’t anything I disliked about this book.
